TODAY  Wednesday Night Live (WNL) every week — Dinner and programs weekly for children, youth, adults, and young adults! Please come for any or all portions of the evening as fits your schedule:

  • 6:15-7:00 pm –
    – Choristers rehearsal – kids and youth grades 3-12;
    – Wednesday Night Seekers – age 4 through 2nd grade;
    – Adult group – “Spiritual Journey of Parenting”
  • 6:30-7:30 pm – Dinner and worship for everyone.
  • 7:15-8:15 pm – Programs for Youth (grades 6-12) and Wednesday Night Explorers (grades 3-5), and Adult program led by Mother Sarah; Chancel Choir rehearsal 7:15-8:30 pm.
  • WNL Dinner RSVP is requested for each week you will dine with us. Meal on Sept. 6 is Baked Potato Bar, on Sept. 13 is Taco Bar. Please reply online at Cost: Children (elementary & younger) $3 / Youth $5 / Adults $7 / Family: $20 max, or SEMESTER PASS is available.

*** Christian Formation/Church School — Adult Classes & Catechesis begin this Sunday, Sept. 10, 10-11 am:
– Adult classes – four offerings to choose from: “Be Still and Know”, “950 Pages: the Rest of the Prayer Book”, “St. Catherine’s Unwrapped”, “Welcoming–Accepting–Nurturing–Serving”

– Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for children age 3 through gr. 5
– Youth – J2A program continuing for gr. 6-12
– Christian Formation Leaders Commissioning at 8:45 & 11:15 services this Sunday, Sept. 10


*** Weekly Ministry Focus: Acolytes — This week we celebrate the life and work of our Acolytes, youth who assist the clergy during worship services. We welcome youth who have a personal desire to serve, and the maturity to sit attentively, follow the bulletin and fully participate in the worship service. Training and vestments are provided. Pictorial Church Directory – sign up now for photo — Everyone who has their picture taken will receive a free 8×10, printed directory, and mobile directory. *** Outreach items collection for Family Promise — Children’s Activity Kits, diapers and wipes. We appreciate your donations of any size diapers, pull-ups and wipes, and Activity Kits for children (bags with coloring or puzzle books, crayons, and books).  Plastic bags with age ranges are available for pick up in the foyer. *** Tuesday, September 12 Holy Comforter Holy Hike and picnic — at Red Top Mountain State Park. We will meet at the park around 10 am, take a gentle hike from the visitor center, and have lunch and a presentation from the park ranger. Carpool will leave St. Cat’s about 9:30 am. –We are collecting fun bingo prizes for our October 7 BBQ and Bingo party, such as cards, umbrellas, jewelry, new socks, stationary, perfume, tote bags, art supplies, etc. Gently used items in great condition welcome.
