Rector Search: Where are we now?

Posted on August 15, 2016
Now that the period of nominations for our rector search is officially closed, the nominating committee has received all the preliminary information it needs to begin reviewing candidates.  We have moved one step closer on our process board, and this new phase is exciting, intriguing and important.  The members of the committee are carving out large amounts of time to devote to this phase of the process, so if we go “under the radar,” you’ll know why.  As always, thank you for your patience, support and trust.  We feel your prayers, and offer the following devotion shared during our most recent meeting:

“May today there be peace within. May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith in yourself and others. May you use the gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content with yourself just the way you are. Let this knowledge settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us.” – Saint Thérèse de Lisieux
