Community groups

St. Catherine’s has a continuing tradition of making its facilities available for use by community groups. Interested parties may contact the Parish Administrator in the church office. Groups which use our facilities include:

  • Alcoholics Anonymous — An A.A. group open to all meets at our facility on Friday evenings. Please contact the church office for schedules.
  • Red Cross Blood Drives — St. Catherine’s hosts periodic Red Cross blood drives which are open to the community. Sign up to donate at redcrossblood.org or call for a time at the upcoming date. Volunteers can participate helping with setup and greeting donors.
  • Scouting:
    – Boy Scout Troop #713 — Monday evenings year-round.
    – Girl Scouts
  • Theater & Musical Groups
  • Kennehoochee Amateur Radio Club (KARC) — This local club for the promotion and support of amateur (“ham”) radio holds occasional club activities at St. Catherine’s. Information on this lively hobby, a unique mix of fun and public service, is available on the club’s website, www.W4BTI.org.
  • Life Line Screening — St. Catherine’s occasionally makes our facility available for economic preventive health screening services to the community by Life Line Screening, Inc. Appointments are required and a fee is involved, watch for announcements
