Daughters of the King
The Daughters of the King is a religious order for women in the Episcopal Church. Members take a public vow of prayer and service to support the church and clergy in many different ways. Preparation to become a member involves a 12-lesson study designed to familiarize the interested person with the rules of prayer and service as well as a background and history of the Order. Our chapter, installed at St. Catherine’s in 1999, meets the second Wednesday evening each month. Our outreach activities include serving dinner at Elizabeth Inn twice a year and making/presenting prayer shawls. Meetings are open to all women of the church and we welcome anyone who is interested to join us.
